Jonathan Church’s superbly enjoyable production of Singin’ in the Rain is a smash-hit with critics and audiences alike. It tells the story of the first Hollywood musical, when the silver screen found its voice and left silent movies – and some of its stars – behind.
Packed full of the charm, romance, comedy and tinsel town glamour of one of the world’s best loved films, this spectacular new production features the glorious MGM score including Good Morning, Make ’em Laugh, Moses Supposes and the classic Singin’ in the Rain.
With Andrew Wright’s high-energy choreography and Simon Higlett’s sumptuous set design (including over 14,000 litres of water), Singin’ in the Rain showers you with everything you could wish for in a hit West End musical and leaves you singin’ and dancin’ all the way home.

Mrs York's Shelter Planet Rabbit Productions Wednesday 29 May
The Swan Inn Dobcross (upstairs)
7.30 pm for 8pm show Tickets are £7.50
Anybody wishing to see this play please contact me by email to make arrangements, thank you.
This is a one act play set in Yorkshire in the 1940's. Mrs York is the matriarch of the community and sorts out any problem when needed. She has an enviable vegetable patch and enough breeding rabbits to feed the street. More importantly she has a much sought after Anderson Shelter, the only one of the street.
For a evening of poignant nostalgia and laughs galore come and see Mrs York's Shelter. Their productions of Blitz Bride and Little in Tents last year were fantastic and highly recommended.
Please speak to me at the meeting if you are interested or email as above. I will need payment before booking the tickets as I have to pay for them when I reserve them.
Thank you for your continued support.
